The characters who made this show funny....Earl, Tommy, and Larry's Dad
My favorite episode was the Triangle and Larry's dad was very funny. The Obese engineer Earl stole every scene he was in and Tommy the neighbor was funny as hell. But the characters that the show was based on wasnt funny at all

The daughter who played Ruthie was on an episode years before for Little House on the Prairie where she plays a little lame girl with a bad leg. Charles Ingalls makes her a special shoe.
