Default Now I finally get to see if this show is really that bad now that I have on DVD

Non-commerical release of course I am confident I will like it better than these shows below based on what I already seen in the crossovers on Different Strokes

Joanie Loves Chachi
Gloria
Fish
Flo
Ropers
Sanford Arms

I am only familiar with the cast because they did 3 crossovers with different strokes. So after seeing them on DS I was interested in seeing them without the drummonds. The highlight of the show is the OBESE radio engineer who everyone makes fun of lol The father larry is a radio show host for a local portland radio station who is divorced living with his two daughters

The two daughters are boring and average looking. Without the engineer the engineer this show would be a D-. He makes it a C-

Not sure if I gave it a grade but I was surprised that it ranked so high the first season. But I did enjoy the set because of the reasons below

Mrs roper and felipe making a guest appearance from threes company
The guy who played ed brown having dancing and singing skills
Chico making a reference to sanford and son
Bookman appearance from Good times

I was thinking you would know who the Hello Larry cast was since they was on DS 3 times unless your local station skipped those eps. But they were all in the 70's so its probably easy not to remember who the cast was.

I still have the VHS tape that has 3 episodes of Hello, Larry on it that I got from you many years ago.
