Default Why doesn't MeTV show the colorized Perry Mason episodes?

I always wondered why METV shows the black and white episodes of Perry Mason and not the colorized versions? Because I think it's time METV should air Perry Mason in color and retire the black and white versions of the episodes

The regular episodes are 1 hour long each. The later episodes are 2 hours long each. It would cause some scheduling issues.

What is under discussion here? I don't believe a colorized version of the original series exists. With respect to the TV movies, there are only 26 of them featuring Burr so that would be nothing more than a once a week presentation (Columbo style).

There was only 1 episode that was film in color so there is no other color episodes of Perry Mason and since MeTV does not own the Perry mason show they can not Colorize Perry Mason like Ted Turner did with the Gilligan Island

other then the Perry Mason Movies those are color and those is in a diffrent package then the series.

the 10th season was propose been film in color but the show was cancel end of the 9 th season

I would not watch any colorized episodes myself. The B & W lends to the mystery. The last episode in color is hard to watch, doesn't seem the same.

MeTV also has never shown the Richard Hatch episodes of The Streets of San Francisco, so PM is not the only series lacking a full airing.

The TV series Perry Mason has been shown on MeTV in it's entirety. The series was only black & white except for the last one which was a lead in for the 10th season which did not happen.

The color Perry Mason are MOVIES not a series.
