The 9-second voicemail containing the use of the N-word was left on CBS Television City's voicemail system, reports TMZ, which adds that the studio notified the LAPD.

I had been a LMAD watcher until the show started to go downhill and I think Wayne Brady was scared that someone might be wanting LMAD off the air and Wayne was trying to protect himself from harm. But I do hope whoever did this gets caught and never tries to bring Wayne Brady fear again because if this happens again LMAD will go belly up. “I don’t care what that dude has to say,” Brady told TMZ Live in response to a voicemail calling him the N-word that was left at CBS' Television City studio, where he tapes Let's Make a Deal. He added: “You think that the best insult that you can come up with is to level that word, that piece of vitriol, that hate? You think that’s clever? You think that’s something that any Black person walking in this country right now hasn’t heard? You are the least of my worries. You can kiss my a**.”

The n-word packs a wallop other words don’t. It comes with centuries of violent, oppressive, and dehumanizing history. Deep down inside, you must agree — at least a little — as evidenced by the fact that you said “the n-word” without using the word itself.
