Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person,we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
When the door of happiness closes,another opens,but often times we look so long at the closed door that we dont see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with,never say a word,and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've every had.

Its true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it,but its also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back!

Ah man!!

I cried when I first read that......I feel like I have been blessed in the last couple weeks... I have gotton 2 of the best friends I have ever had along with thier whole family.......

I was out of it,didnt wanna live anymore and felt hopeless all of last year and now..... Last June I met some people who I thought were my friends and for a month they were,then they turned on me severely and I have been a mental mess since last July or so....

I have just met these people and already they are MUCH MORE LOVING AND CARING than the ones from last year.... If I didnt start looking for them again,I probably would still be trying to get the ppl form last year back which now I can see are horrible people compared to the friends I have now....

Dude111, never give people that kind of power. Unfortunately, it is part of life in dealing with toxic people who are going to treat you unkindly. Walk away from them and never look back. Also, learn to love yourself so you do not deal with others' bullcrap.

Glad that you are getting your emotional affairs back in order. I too find that I now in my later years get weepy over sentimental things, such as when a movie's "bad guy" crosses everyone up by saving the day....stuff like that.

One of the harder lessons in life for me to learn, was the difference between a friend vs someone I just shared common interests with.

Nice post Dude, it's true we come into this world crying and all around are happy and laughing and going out many are in so much pain and no laughing around all that. Often I feel like crying with the arthritic pain I live in, and will vent to friends and family and then I have to end up laughing and I can conger up laughter. There are so many worse off than me. Thanks again...

Thank you Theda. They dont like the fact I dont think like they do about all thats going on now and Im worried....I dont wanna lose them!!!!

Its sad,people have lost so many friends because of this garbage!!!!!!

Just a thought, yes, many have lost some friends, some long time, and if people were all sheep and followed the "rules" so many follow out there, one can keep all their friends, but lose themselves. I'm referring to this virus disaster we're all going thru, our way or their way.
