Default After working from home since May 2020, it all ends after this weekend and back to

office on July 6th

Not only that, I will be in a new department and have to be trained for a new position because some of the other govt employees has seniority and can stay home longer. So all I want to do this weekend is watch July 4th marathons and relax. No interest in going out anywhere.

I knew that working from home was going to last forever but I thought that when it was time to go back we ALL would go back together. Not some people

It's nice that you were able to work from home until now. It sounds like you're not looking forward to going back to the office. Will you be required to wear a mask for the full work day?

Since you have to train for a new position, does that mean a promotion with a pay increase?

Well, a pay raise would have been nice, but if you're okay with things, that is what matters. As long as you are able to pay your bills and buy food, that is the main thing. But everyone needs some spending money for fun stuff. I hope you are able to do that.

This was the job I took 2 years ago because it was $17,000 more than the job I was doing. You can see its not always about the money
