Heres a thread where we can relax a little and talk to our fellow humans, instead of bickering with our political rivals.

Quite a lot of us have been here for some time. But what do we really know about each other? Sure we have our opinions and perceptions of individuals on here, but every one of them is wrong. This is an opportunity to correct the record of your sitcomsonline persona a little bit,if you'd like

The idea is to tell everyone something about yourself that they wouldn't have guessed, based on the discussions you enter and positions you take in them. I think that most of us stick to discussing certain topics and leave others alone for lots of valid reasons, but it does leave a hole in other peoples' perceptions of the people we are.

Anyway..... I am very loving and caring to people (Or I try to be (Even if they are mean to me))

Some surprising stuff about me might be: I prefer Analogue over digital as to me Analogue is much nicer looking and sounding....

I like VHS for the same reason and I hate it when a movie has been "Digitally mastered" or anything Digital.... If I wanted Digital,I would watch or listen to a CD!!

Those are a couple things about me..... I think this is a nice idea for a thread,it lets us see some of the softer spots of all and we need that now

Peace and love to you all.......

Actually, a pretty sane and good idea for a thread. But why put it in Politics?

Well I just put it in the same place it was on city-data (On the political base)

I thought it was a good idea so I wanted to share it elsewhere...

I eat my cereal dry, never liked it with milk.
I don't like condiments on burgers or tartar sauce on fish. I do like cocktail sauce on shrimp and salsa on chips, though.
When I was a lot younger I asked my next door neighbor if she was Cruella Devil, she wasn't even wearing a fur coat. It was after I had seen 101 Dalmatians in the theater. And this neighbor wasn't mean either.
I got to shake Peter Noone's hand the 2nd year I saw him in concert.
My dad, uncle, and grandpa were in a trumpet trio. Grandpa had assumed I would become a trumpeter as well. But Mom put her foot down, did not want two trumpeters in her house. So I became a violinist.

I have never been outside of the US, and the only states that I have been to are Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

My friend is a trumpet player and she was even in a jazz band when she was in school. She still plays as well, but not as often anymore. She now plays around Christmastime though.

The only international food that I've had is Chinese, Italian, and Mexican.

I have never been on a plane.

I have never met anyone famous.

You don't have any Mexican or Italian restaurants near you? You haven't eaten any pasta or pizza?

Well here goes, I pushed myself out of my Eastern roots comfort zone and got a little involved with a nudist camp not far from where I live, what a wonderful experience overall. Tested myself big time, and met a lot of nice non judgemental people.

Then along the way a bf I was with, I convinced him to go to a Nude Beach near Santa Barbara, a midwest guy with a fear, but he went and we had a great time. Did the beach a couple times. Again, he left his comfort zone.

They say CA is more than a state, it's a State of Mind, and glad I got here 56 yrs ago. A lot of good lessons and experiences I would never had if I had stayed put.

Dude, I'm not an active nudist, but I experienced some "new things" to add to my list. I say grab the brass ring when it's there...

I sleep buck naked (to quote a Scott Calvin phrase ), almost always do at my apartment. But I never could never go out in public like that or join a nudist colony.
