The Ignore Feature on Social Media and Websites is a Godsend. I had some IDIOT call me a Cheapskate for admitting that I ordered two Medium Pizzas for a Family of 8. I told him that was enough as each Family Member got 2 slices. His response was stuff like,"Stop being a LOW LIFE CHEAPSKATE and go FEED your Family, you WORTHLESS CHEAPSKATE BUM!" This was full on HARASSMENT. I decided I had enough of this IDIOT and decided I needed to stop responding to him. I didn't want him speaking to me either.
I asked something like,"Where's the Report Button?" I did some Searching and found something even better than a Report Button. I found out I could just IGNORE this IDIOT. IGNORING this IDIOT made me happy and I never looked back. I think 8 people having 2 slices each is sufficient. I think that IDIOT was completely out of line to speak to me like that....:/ What do you guys think?

I think that if I was a guest who you had invited over for dinner, and saw that dinner was going to be 2 slices of medium pizza, I'd probably eat only one slice, and try to think of a gracious way to explain that I wasn't really hungry. Then stop and get a burger on the way home.
I don't think the web critic was justified in being abusive. Personally, between me and pizza parlors in general, I have a grievance that most pizzas sold as "large" are really medium sized, and what they call "extra-large" should be called "large". So when you say you used "medium"....well, I'm probably a little biased to begin with. Did you include a salad, or dessert afterwards? That might make a difference too. |

That guy was clearly being abusive. Glad you have him on Ignore.
As to the pizza question, were the family members mostly male or female? Many of the ladies I know would never eat more than one or two slices. But most guys would not be satisfied with two slices of pizza. |

I also pointed out to this IDIOT that THREE of the Family Members are under 7! So obviously, the KIDS under 7 are most likely not going to eat 3 slices each! I still think 2 slices for each Family Member is sufficient.... But, I have doubled the deal since then and make it FOUR Medium Pizzas so that each Family Member can have 4 slices each.

Well, I suppose it boils down to a matter of priority. If thrift was the goal, then you did well.

Usually, I am a three slicer, plus one more about an hour after. And if there is any left over for breakfast the next morning, I consider that a win-win scenario.

That was my FIRST time buying pizza for my Family. I have since then doubled the deal and bought 4 medium pizzas so that each Family Member can have 4 slices each.

I'm probably not the best critic. I believe the last time I had a 40" waist, was the 8th grade.

It's nobody's business how much pizza you buy and for how many...way out of line, I would totally ignore that a-hole.
On the pizza issue I've been treating myself too much in the last 4 yrs since home from rehabs and hospital for my knee issue, and the weight and bloat was coming on and so has the glucose levels, too much sodium overall unless one makes their own from their kitchen... Since I'm not buying any for 2 weeks, I feel a looseness in my clothes. Moderation is KEY. And being able to burn off the bad stuff is good if one can do some hard work, I can't anymore. Stretching is what I can do and you don't burn too much there, but a little I hope. |
