That is why I use to watch the show, he did a pretty good job. Different from Darrin #2.

He replaced the original father on this show. Poor Dick Seargeant... he was always playing sloppy seconds. First "Bewitched", then "Down To Earth". LOL.

Well he did have far more experience by this time. And let’s be honest, the scripts in Sargent’s era of bewitched would have severely challenged Olivier or Gielgud.
