Update. In a Facebook video (which I can’t seem to post) she says it’s not a Hot In Cleveland reunion, but it is a sitcom.

Over on the social medias it did draw this response from Todd Milliner (Hot In Cleveland executive producer), so I’m guessing he’s involved

Major update:

Valerie Bertinelli Joins Demi Lovato In NBC Comedy Pilot ‘Hungry’

Valerie Bertinelli is set as a lead opposite Demi Lovato in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot Hungry, starring and executive produced by Lovato. The casting marks Bertinelli’s first series regular role since her six-season run on TV Land’s hit sitcom Hot In Cleveland. Hungry comes from Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner’s Hazy Mills, SB Projects and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Written and executive produced by Suzanne Martin, Hungry follows a group of friends who belong to a food-issues group helping one another as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that’s going to make it all better.

Concept sounds interesting although it doesn’t sound so promising. Sounds like another Mom. It will be nice to see Valerie Bertinelli though.

Sounds exciting. I'd give it a try.

I never saw Mom. It run eight years, right? If this thing can get to series and run half that, I’d be satisfied.

The good part is it would be NBC, which everyone has access to for free. The bad part is network shows seem to get canceled quicker then cable or streaming ones.

Mom is about a bunch of alcoholic ladies in AA.

Do you know when it's supposed to debut?

That’s probably why TV Legend said it sounded like Mom. This would be about a food-issues group.

Article doesn’t say. If it’s picked up I figure later this year or early next year.

Does single camera mean no laugh track? I hope, I hope, I hope.... 'cause I hate the fake laugh tracks. I love comedies with no laugh track like The Office & The Goldbergs.

Oh That would BE GREAT.....Val & Demi together.........though in fantasy land instead of that in name only horrible "ODAAT" reboot (has nothing to do with family heritage) I just found that besides very minor similarities the show was hardly a reboot of ODAAT.

So In fantasy land.......a real ODAAT reboot, Val is single, Mark gone somewhere and she is raising Demi as her mom. Mack could make cameos or she could be dating Maxx! while aunting "Little grown up Annie". So many possibilities. Too Bad and so sad that many are gone but I know even Glenn Scarpelli could even pop in and out!

I always felt Mark was a crappy husband to Barbara, so I loved "The Nearness Of you" episode!

I don’t know how to bring over the video, but she has The Pointer Sisters ‘I’m So Excited’ playing.
