Default I don’t know why they felt the need to replace the best part of the show…

Lori Ann had to be the BEST thing about this show. She was so fun to watch. Reba had a sidekick and wasn’t alone all the time. Why they wrote out Lori Ann is beyond me. She definitely made up for the Van/Cheyenne and Brock/Barbara Jean crap. The idea of Reba becoming friends and reconciling with Barbara Jean, the same young slut who knocked up her husband and bore a child for him is ridiculous and a waste of time and defeats the purpose of the show. I can’t believe how dumb they made Reba. They really jumped the gun when the show became The Barbara Jean Show.

Huh? She’s still alive today.

Yeah, the lady who played Lori Ann is still very much alive, but what has she been up to these days has been the big question. Its been ten years now since her last acting credit according to her page at the IMDB website.

God bless you and Park always!!!

It could be possible that she’s retired. Maybe she’s now pursuing other things.

Park Overall was fun but she wasnt the best part of the show. Barbra Jean and Van & Cheyenne were chars that made the show unique. Seeing Cheyenne be the one Reba confided in while BJ tries to become friends made Lori Ann unnecessary.

I didn’t want to tune in expecting Lori Ann and watching Barbara Jean instead. That’s why I never got into the show the way I wanted to. It became The Barbara Jean Show and it just became too much. It’s the woman who’s been sleeping around with another woman’s man wanting to become friends with the “missus” for me.

It is both sickening, stupid and extremely unrealistic that Reba would even be civil to the woman who slept with her husband, became pregnant by her husband and then married him after his divorce. It's not like the show Adventures of Old Christine. Christine's husband Richard was divorced from Christine for quite a while before he got a new girlfriend. He never cheated on Christine the way Reba's husband Brock did. Brock was scum. Richard from Old Christine was not scum and neither was his girlfriend, New Christine, so it was fine that Old Christine was civil and friendly with New Christine. Reba on the other hand came off as a pathetic, stupid doormat.

Exactly. It made no sense and it made Reba look dumb as hell.

^^^ That right there is what gets addressed when Reba's parents come to visit during the first season. Her mom didn't understand at first why Barbra Jean was allowed to be in the picture as much as she was. I think that the reason why Reba allowed Brock and Barbra Jean to get away with so much was because of the kids. If she had tried to keep the kids from him, things would've only gotten worse. We know that Brock wouldn't have stood there and let Reba get away with doing such a thing.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. You could say that Brock and Barbra Jean eventually did get what was coming to them when Kyra moved in. That all happening though ended up being Cheyanne and Reba's fault. When the money for Kyra's England trip at the end of season two ended up going to Cheyanne for summer college classes, right then is when Kyra should've said to her mother, "How can you be a grandmother to Elizabeth when you can't even be a mother to me first?"

I didn't like Kyra too much. She was too moody, sarcastic, mean and just super unpleasant.

I’d take her anyday over Barbara Jezebel.

Why would you expect to see Lori Ann when she wasn’t even a main character ever? BJ was in the intro from pilot to finale. Lori Ann appears in 7 eps. BJ gets lots of development and Reba isn’t always nice to her. It takes along time for her to even admit liking her at all
