The fact is, this case badly disturbs a lot of people. It was the audacious and appalling abduction of a very pretty and popular girl by a guy who sounded a little bit like someone off of Wrong Turn, the would be hero boyfriend gives chase but the bad guy gets away with her and he and her both disappear forever. That's a hard pill to swallow, but it happens. I think this case is exactly what it looks like. Some sick and sexually depraved perv saw a sick opportunity, took it, and got away with it. Maybe he wasn't smart, he probably just got lucky and had enough sly and animal like cunning to hide the body well. And from his clothing and appearance he probably was a drifter who survived doing odd jobs on farms and such, lived mostly off the grid and came into contact with few people which contributed to him never being found. Its sad, tragic, and sucks big balls but it happens. He'll get his someday, if the law doesn't get him God will. |

Still a long way from convinced its true though. This guys just didn't sound like someone engaged in some sort of professional mob like kidnapping, more like a dirty old perv who saw a sick opportunity. |

The mistaken identity theory makes sense to me.

OMG! I just watched this episode on the UM Channel on Pluto. Those eyes of that lady are creepy. Sadly none of those ladies have been found, but there have been new leads with Angela. A letter was mailed to the Police department in April of this year. (2021) It was written with letters cut from a magazine! postmarked with the date of the abduction of Angela! The police also said that someone had called them and left a VM message and they would like for them to call back if they would.

The mistaken identity theory is plausible, but it just doesn't seem like these people would have followed the wrong girl. Sure, if she really was a "dead ringer" for Angela, someone could have mistakenly misidentified her. But that seems unlikely since the abductor was driving around and pretty much "stumbled" onto Angela in the phone booth. I've noticed in recent articles that efforts to tie the mistaken identity theory to the green pickup truck described by Rob have come up empty handed. I wonder if in the heat of the moment that Rob got some of the details of the truck wrong.

I actually really like this theory. It makes more sense than that of Rob killing and disposing of Angie’s body, in addition to throwing out his transmission, in a short period of time…. Also, welcome Cvdixon!!
