Default Three's Company edits, which would you choose?

So let's say if the original Three's Company episode film elements were lost or burned forever and your only option to see them were the edited syndicated versions from the 80's-90's or the later edited versions that first aired on Nick at Nite in the 2000's.

My preference would be the 80's and 90's prints of course from those many of the end tag scenes were cut but most of them didn't relate to the main plot so you weren't missing much, these prints are airing on Antenna TV.

When Nick at Nite started airing different edited prints we got some of the end tags restored but at the expense of cutting out funny bits in the middle of episodes that I had grown up on and that was upsetting, these prints are currently on Pluto TV.

Its just not Threes Company, every sitcom is so cut up its ridiculous. There is an episode of the Golden Girls that they cut out so many quick scenes that unless you knew what was cut out or seen the original, the plot would lose you. IMHO Threes Company is the least problematic sitcom with edits. I have seen far worse.
More interesting is in the old days of early 70s, All In The Family always had clever endings that today never see the light of day. Thankfully they are on the DVDs. However, even when that show went into syndication only the endings were cut. Today, they not only remove the endings but also cut out so many on liner jokes. I just posted on the One Day At A Time thread a scene that all of Barbara's jokes were cut out that were so funny about the smell of marijuana in Scheiders's apt. If I had not remembered them as a kid, I would have never known they were cut. Personally, I hate the jokes being cut over the quick endings before the credits roll.

Pluto TV has the prints that Nick@Nite use to air in the 2000's and yeah I hate how they abruptly cut to a commercial without even a fade out.

I dont remember N@N cuts being that bad unless it was before 2002. N@N was the channel that introduced me to the tag scenes that I never saw before 2002 because TC was seen on my local tv station

^ Trust me its the same prints as N@N, I've been watching reruns of Three's Company since the 80's and about 90% of those had the tags edited out.

I dont ever recall nick@nite leaving the Jack's dance scene out of Up in the Air. That was TBS and Antenna TV

You have it the other way around, I use to record the show on VHS and was used to the syndicated version that when N@N got around to airing this episode Jack's hilarious dance number was chopped in half.

You right, I had to clue the TBS version to the N@N version because it was TBS that aired the full dance scene not N@N
