Coach will most likely move to Rewind in the future, but probably not yet as Antenna has played it a lot so it must need a rest for awhile but since they are adding three new shows in 2022 (Rewind, that is), they'll likely add some more of the shows formerly aired by Antenna. Antenna will just most likely add more 60s and 70s sitcoms starting this fall. It would be totally unrealistic to think that Coach, a 90s sitcom, would still be on Antenna, a channel meant for sitcoms from the 50s, 60s, and 70s once they change their format to that.

If they add a bunch of new 50s-70s sitcoms that haven't been announced yet, Coach is gone. But if it is just what they have the rights to now, doesn't seem that would be enough to fill out the schedule.

Majority of what they air now is from the 50s, 60s, and 70s and 80s and 90s are mostly Weekends. So they could just air extra showings of shows like Barney Miller, The Jeffersons, One Day at a Time, Alice, Three's Company, etc. on Weekends and probably bring back shows like Maude as well to fill some gaps to start with but I'm sure they'll add a few new shows in September as well. Time will tell, but I just think it's unrealistic to think that once they change their format that they would still air 90s sitcoms even though they've stated that that's not what Antenna will be for starting September, so Coach is 100% going to be gone starting September, as will Gimme a Break, Silver Spoons and It's a Living. They'll have no place on a 50s-70s sitcom network.

(NASDAQ: NXST), announced that it will launch Rewind TV, a digital subchannel offering a slate of classic television sitcom hits from the 1980s and 1990s, on September 1, 2021. We first broke this news a few months ago, but now the official announcement has come with the name of the network and programming info. At its launch, Rewind TV will reach 40 percent of U.S. television households, or nearly 50 million homes, including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Rewind TV will be available on newly designated or recently vacated digital subchannels licensed to Nexstar, full details on station carriage will be coming in the coming months.

Rewind TV will air a bunch of series from the Antenna TV library, but they have also acquired some new sitcoms: The Drew Carey Show, Suddenly Susan, Caroline in the City, and The John Larroquette Show. We already announced Caroline in the City is coming in 2021 and vaguely hinted about Suddenly Susan in 2022 (but now both are coming to Rewind instead of Antenna). We also hinted a return for Mad About You, but no word on that one yet. The Drew Carey Show and The John Larroquette Show are totally new and will start in 2022 with Suddenly Susan. Joining Caroline in the City this September on Rewind are Antenna TV faves 227, Becker, Dear John, Designing Women, Diff'rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Growing Pains, Head of the Class, The Hogan Family, Mork & Mindy, Murphy Brown, My Two Dads, NewsRadio, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Who’s the Boss, and Wings all will migrate over to Rewind TV in September. Also, if Coach is such a big hit, supposedly, for Antenna, shouldn't it be going to Rewind with the others 80s and 90s sitcoms? Why are they hesitating to put it on at first, because clearly it isn't going to be on Antenna, unless Coach isn't a big hit for them. I can't see it any other way to be perfectly honest.

Coach has great slots with the 11PM hour leading out of Johnny Carson on weekdays and the 10PM primetime hour on Sundays. Many of the shows moving over to Rewind wouldn't come close to those good times on Antenna, Coach wouldn't have those cushy hours if it didn't do well.

Please Don't Eat The Daisies ran for two seasons and I'd like to see that show as well.

I'm curious if The Joey Bishop Show might return to Antenna TV, it doesn't really matter to me personally because I already recorded all the episodes but I'm just curious.

Antenna TV could be a great channel if they ran complete unedited episodes of all the sitcoms and stopped doing the credit crunches but I imagine that's probably asking too much.

I would schedule this for September weekdays on Antenna TV. Decades getting switched around shouldn't matter, Decades does that with their shows and changes around the decades.

I agree, Bachelor Father should return. ALL THE EPISODES! (Someone [Universal] needs to solve the music issues and cough up the cash to renew those rights.) Practically none of season 5 is shown.

Infomercials are a good idea--maybe they can get rid of a minute of those garbage ads per half hour, and as you say, play out the credits.)

If Coach were one of the best performing shows on Antenna, it would undoubtedly be on Rewind in the fall in a good timeslot. The fact that it isn't is very good indication of their actual feelings toward it rather than potential contractual obligations to air a show. Regardless, doesn't matter as it will be gone for who knows how long come September, and that couldn't come fast enough for me.

Yes, Bachelor Father! Also Mister Ed, Patty Duke and The Real McCoys I think would be very nice additions to Antenna. Also, Welcome Back Kotter, Chico and the Man & The New Dick Van Dyke Show would be nice for the 70s.

Yes, it would be nice to see SOME network give proper treatment to The Real McCoys. Cozi TV put them in the wee hours, and they run as many ads as the Viacom networks.

It would be very nice to see, and seeing as they have gotten shows from that distributor before (SFM who distributes Joey Bishop & Good Morning World), I don't see it as that far fetched that they could get it in the future.
