I remember my mom saw this at a free movie, with coffee, and donuts that a local mall used to have. Needless to say she said I'd love it. One of my favorite movie scenes of all time. The hell to pc.

All the more funny, as I recall, when originally viewing it for the first time, an almost epiphany type moment when realizing who that was.

That clip was a hoot and great to see Barbara “in the saddle” again. Wished she had done more stuff after LITB - she was superb in the show.

I really got a case of the hots for June Cleaver when I was in my 40s. It started out as a joke I guess, where I would idealize her subordinate role in the family, and lament to my friends "where could you ever hope to find a woman like that, anymore?" Solving all the world's problems with a well prepared (and timed) Chateaubriand. Making all problems suddenly insignificant, as the result.

And then the more I thought about it, the more it appealed to me, I guess in a sexist sort of way. Now whenever I watch those re-runs...I look at Ward and think "you lucky son of a gun"...

when I was younger she was my go to MILF
her traditional form fitting tops are sexy in an acceptable way
I still like her body and agree > I think about Ward and ...

BUT

re-watching her now, her TV personality can be a turnoff

Not a fan of Snoopy types and her cold glares chill even me at times

Minor tangent here, there is another actress, Louise Latham, who is a master of the "flinty-eyed" glare. She usually plays a prudish aunt Martha-like snob, but very cold hearted.

Dead now, but I always thought if I saw her in public I would walk up to her, and she'd say "I suppose you want an autograph?"

To which I'd reply "no, ..slap me in the face and tell me that you never want to see me again, it's important"...LOL!

I don't think it's sexist if that is what the woman wants, as well.
