I get clips of that alot from my CLG Megamixes back in the dag. Any info on that. Google is of very little help.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but MetroNet was the name, in 1977, of Metromedia's network plans, which didn't fully form.

Only Metro Channel I can find with a logo similar to that one is this Filipino channel.
