I found some pix on the website http://mywebpages.comcast.net/csmiths/carcartoon.html from an
"ultra-rare Car 54 cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera in 1972. There were a total of eight of these made. They were part of another cartoon show entitled 'Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home.' Joe E. Ross did his own voiceover [as Officer Toody]." Has anyone seen this show-within-a-show? If so, who does Muldoon's voice? Just curious. |

I don't remember either one of them and I was a cartoon freak in the early 70's. I'd like to see both of them though.

Yes, I rememebr that, Joe E.ROss had been somewhat established by that tiem doing some 70s HB voices, though Fred Gwynne's not in that one.
TOm Bosley was always excellent, wasn't he??

I found this Tootie toon online after reading this thread. Actually it's just ONE episode of the cartoon TV series "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" epis. called "Car 54". I haven't seen it all yet but I recorded it and Tootie and Muldoon both come to visit the family in the toon. But Fred Gwynne does not do the voice of Muldoon. But I liked it when the cartoon Tootie talks about Captain Block like everything is still normal at the police station. This episode is the 4th one from Season 3, unfortunately only season 1 is available commercially to buy.
