Default Dealing with Arthritis???

This is a condition MOST will have in one form or another before they leave this earth. I had my first sign at 18 and I've been managing it for over 60 yrs and have tried and used many supplements and one pharma drug that put me in the ER in the 80's....

Here is one Food source that can really help and I've been using and taking it for many years but for some reason just got off it a lot recently, but now back on it...right now drinking my morning coffee with 1/2 tsp of C.O. in it. I think I read a while back it's called bulletproof coffee or some term like that.

Our joints need oiled just like our autos.

C.O. also supports low thyroid. And other benefits. Great for dental health as I've been using C.O. toothpaste for some yrs and my dentists don't like that.

Take this info or don't. But there is probably not anyone over say 40 or so who does not have some form of arthritis and it advances with aging.

I have it in my knees, esp. my left. I can no longer run (maybe jog a small block)and have to take stairs slowly - up and down. I hear fish oil and cherries are supposed to be good for arthritis.

Oh, there are so many alleged remedies out there and I've probably tried most of them, but I'm back to concentrating on C.O. and it does other good things too.

Mine is worst in right knee, which is hip replacement side of body and the knee that the surgeon "cleaned out" back in 2017, outcome from that little clean out -- all worse, what cartlidge was left was cleaned out.

I have it in my hands and wrist, but also have a mild case in my knees. I can no longer wear my wedding rings because the finger joints swell so bad. I take an otc for the swelling. Will they ever have a cure for it?

I think I'll stick with over the counter medicine, don't want to get hooked on anything that might kill me.

Are you certain your issues are not RA, the swelling of finger joints. Cure, nope, it's all management, certain foods do cause more issues and for me I take a lot of supplements, a drug I took yrs ago put me in the ER with stomach ulcer, so I do my own research and try a lot of things...

Can't agree more, when I had a hip replacement I had to be on oxy for a while and could NOT wait to get off it, talk about side effects and then I had it again when ended up with knee infection from it all, and again could not wait to get off it.

I have a 6 hr schedule of minor otc pain stuff and make sure I have food in my stomach when I take them, otherwise supplements.

Could be RA. I need to go back to my doctor & let him check it out. I've stayed away since all the Covid drama. I take Aleve when it's really hurting, I also use Ben-gay or Icy Hot on my fingers & wrist. It helps a little. I'm not sure what foods to avoid or what supplements would be good for it.

Thinking about what you said. I've tried so many topicals and ointments and the BEST of all of what I've used and many I still do is: Topricin for Pain Homeopathic Lotion, it contains 11 homeopathic solutions and I can't say enough about it...You can find it everywhere and that includes amazon and ebay and I buy mine from a online supplement company. Everything is temporary so know that.

On foods do a search on Inflammatory foods and maybe you can eliminate some that could be causing more harm for you. Also listen to your body when you've eaten something that could be causing more pain. Sugars are notorious, nothing good about them for our health, but are addicting ... I've been down that road.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. Fortunately no pain but I get very sore & achy if I try to climb stairs too fast or jog more than half a block.

Coconut Oil. There is a lot of info on C.O. and Arthritis and C.O. also supports thyroid health, and stories out there on people who have used C.O. in dementia conditions...which is a cruel/terrible battle.

I also use about 1/2 tsp of C.O. in my morning coffee, it's called bulletcoffee.
