I liked Coach in the 1990's. My parents liked the series also. Coach, Luther and Dawber were so wonderfully stupid. Then add the Athletic Director guy that no one respected, and Dawber's manly girlfriend that Coach hated. All funny and all great characters. Then there is Shelly Fabres, this is where the term MILF was born, who was basically the Straight (Wo)Man of the bunch. Sort of jumped the shark the last season when Heyden went pro, but hey, Jessica Tate owned the football team so what the hell.
Two characters I HATED were the daughter and the stupid ass wussy husband Stewart. The daughter especially. I found her to be very annoying, needy, dumb, bitchy, I just did not like her at all. The whole her and Stewart (or Stuart, whatever) episodes to me were the worst. So, hopefully her character, (not the actress, the character) is killed off, or just never spoken about again, like Chuck Cunningham. Have her be estranged and living in Bangladesh as a nun. Something. |

I thought the actress who played Kelly was very pretty. I don't think the character ever real was a fit on the show. She just didn't mesh well with the other characters. I don't think there is any need to kill her off though. Just don't make her a regular. Have her only show up once in a while.
