Default Just saw the WORST EPISODE of Maude

Damm not sure who came up with the idea for this episode. Maude's crazy male cousin running around like a fool and pretending to be a superhero

The only unwatchable episode on the DVD

The entire episode was stupid. I am confident no episode in season 6 will be as bad as that. I just finished season 5

Yeah that was my least favorite episode of the series. The guy who wrote it also wrote Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman which was full of weird & bizarre story lines.

I think that may have been the most unwatchable episode of the series

Looks like John Byner.

A somewhat little known fact is that Garry Marshall was desperately searching for someone to guest star as an alien on one of his TV shows. He brought in John Byner and Byner was so awful that Marshall thought he was going to have to scrap the show. Then Marshall's sister told him about a guy that did mime on the subway in Manhattan and passed the hat around and he should audition him. Of course that mime turned out to be Robin Williams.

Maude is my all-time favorite show and I agree, yes, this is definitely the worst of the 141 episodes filmed.

She should have sent him down to Queens to let their Cousin Edith's husband Archie make mincemeat out of him!

OTOH, Archie would have NEVER let Edith hear the end of it re 'her relatives' had that particular cousin popped in.

Currently going through Maude and I have to agree this is an awful episode.

The one with Arthur's twin isn't great either.
