looking for Walter on Maude during the same TV season, 1975-76. Those two guys appeared on Good Times on 12/16/75 and appeared on Maude about a month later on 1/12/76

Why were they all around the apartment and using their phone? They could’ve just asked The Evans some questions about Cleatus and left. THE EVANS didn’t rob the damn bank.

Then J.J. prances around, clowning, and screaming DYNOMITE, and he gets arrested last but tries to resist his arrest. The Wilona comes in and sees all this and she turns back around and goes downstairs to gossip to Gurdy and Wanda about it.

Hmm.... JJ says,"Dynomite!" When something GOOD happens.... I REALLY couldn't see him thinking that his Family being handcuffed is a GOOD thing... MAYBE he'd say it, especially repeatedly like that as a DIVERSION tactic to get the Police Officers Attention on himself while the Handcuffed Evans get a chance to break themselves out of the handcuffs....
