Default FUN FACT TIME!!!!, Did you know that the two cops that was looking for Cleatus was..

looking for Walter on Maude during the same TV season, 1975-76. Those two guys appeared on Good Times on 12/16/75 and appeared on Maude about a month later on 1/12/76

They were also both the authorities on One Day At a Time. Not together though.

One guy in one episode (light coat)

And the other guy a street cop in a different ep

I knew they appeared on Maude but wasn’t 100% sure they appeared ODAAT.

Why were they all around the apartment and using their phone? They could’ve just asked The Evans some questions about Cleatus and left. THE EVANS didn’t rob the damn bank.

It would’ve been the funniest and best episode in Good Times history if they did. Florida gets handcuffed first and screams for James, James walks up to the police and “TCB” and tells them to back off of his wife, he gets handcuffed too, Thelma takes her earrings off and puts her fists up, she gets handcuffed third, Michael walks up to the police with his black history book in his hand, talking about Medgar Evers, Martin Luther King, and other black people, the police snatch his book away, puts duct tape on his mouth to shut him up, and handcuffs him fourth. Then J.J. prances around, clowning, and screaming DYNOMITE, and he gets arrested last but tries to resist his arrest. The Wilona comes in and sees all this and she turns back around and goes downstairs to gossip to Gurdy and Wanda about it.

Should I be SCARED or HAPPY that I could ACTUALLY see that episode happening?

J.J., while his family are struggling and handcuffed, prancing around and clapping his hands:

J.J.: DYNOMITE! DYNOMITE! DYNOMITE! DYNOMITE!

James: J.J., shut up! I may be handcuffed but I can still give you a good whoopin’ you can’t forget.

LOL.

Hmm.... JJ says,"Dynomite!" When something GOOD happens.... I REALLY couldn't see him thinking that his Family being handcuffed is a GOOD thing... MAYBE he'd say it, especially repeatedly like that as a DIVERSION tactic to get the Police Officers Attention on himself while the Handcuffed Evans get a chance to break themselves out of the handcuffs....
