Default Since Cindy Was Chrissy's Cuz + Chrissy Was Taking Care Of Grandma Why. .?

Why didn't Chrissy ask to speak to Cindy when calling Jack, and why didn't Cindy either ask Chrissy how their (presumed) mutual grandmother was or, at the very least, ask Jack what Chrissy had said about Grandma. ..or anything?

Yes, I know that the whole Chrissy Phone Segments were solely done to force Miss Somers to adhere to her contract before the negotiations broke down entirely (and she was permanently off the show) but it still made no sense for Chrissy or Cindy never to have talked on the phone with each other, much less pass news about Grandma (and no, it wouldn't have hurt the comedy for either one thing to have happened).

Don't look for logic in Three's Company storylines. they weren't looking forward or back. There are a ton more questions to be asked. Lol

After Janet completely snubbed Cindy in that wig episode did Janet ever apologize? Cindy was never seen or mentioned again after that. No goodbye for Cindy. The producers didn't care about that stuff.

As we all know Chrissy's name was never mentioned again. After The Ropers came back for that 1 return show they were never heard from again. None of them even came back for Janet's wedding. Lol

The producers were not a sentimental group. Lol

Yeah I wouldn't read too much into until I purchased the series DVD's imagine my surprise to find out there were more Chrissy tag scenes as my entire time I had watched the edited episodes in syndication.

That's because they weren't interested in paying those actors tens of thousands of dollars to appear in the finale. It all boils down to money but I agree they should've tried to get the Ropers & Cindy & Lana. Chrissy is persona non grata.

I agree, why even had the added character be a relative if she wasnt going to talk to chrissy atleast once.

Yes like the one with her talking to Jack. In syndication you only see chrissy talking to Janet

I thought maybe they mentioned Chrissy once in a later Terri episode, I don't remember exactly what was happening, but it was when they were telling the interviewer how they all met... I thought Janet says something like, "Well I was living here with 2 girls, Chrissy and Elanor...."

They could have at least mentioned some of the older characters at the wedding like, "Too bad Chrissy and the Ropers couldn't make it"

But I think there was such bad blood between Ritter/Dewitt and Somers it's as if they wanted to pretend Chrissy never existed it seems.

They should not have punished the character for the problems they had with Suzanne. Grow up and have a scene where Chrissy sends her best wishes by telegram or have the Ropers do it. It would have been a nice touch. But the producers didn't care about things like that. The Ropers only lived 20 min away didn't they ? Lol

They should have had the Ropers move out of state because for them to be so close it would be odd that they wouldnt be able to come to wedding

Especially since they came back in season 5 to visit

Exactly. Janet jogged to their house once. It wasn't far. Lol i guess Cindy was too busy with her university studies to attend. Or she never forgave Janet for snubbing her when Janet was wearing her new wig. We never saw Cindy again after that.
