Please pardon that paraphrase. Anyway, it's nice to see Unsolved Mysteries back in production (just two years after being canceled from primetime). It's one of only two shows most important to me (the other is The Incredible Hulk).
As you may or may not know, UM isn't the only documentary/reality series to be revived as a first-run cable series. Not long ago, TBS revived Ripley's Believe It Or Not (with Dean Cain as the host). Also, did you know that the A&E series Biography was once a non-cable series? It was shown in syndication in the '60s (narrated by Mike Wallace). It was canceled after a few years. It was then briefly revived in 1979 (with David Janssen as narrator). And finally, the cable channel A&E revived it in 1987, and it's been the channel's top rated show ever since. Given all this, it comes as no surprise that Unsolved Mysteries has been given this kind of new lease on life. Welcome back, Unsolved Mysteries! |

Do you know when the new episodes will begin airing? And will Robert Stack still host?

The new installments are on Monday-Thursdays at 8 pm (Eastern Standard Time). The new season began on July 2. Each night, they show one new segment intermixed with old ones.
Hope this helps.
