Default Four Reasons I Am Glad I'm a Man

1. I will never be pregnant.
2. I will never have a period.
3. I will never be expected to wear pantyhose or high heels.
4. I will never be invited to a baby shower.

Add to that: no one will ever be maimed of killed while attending your "gender reveal" party.

Of course on the down side, you'll never be able to fantasize that the guy you hired to photograph your wedding, secretly has the hots for you,...either.

1. I have never been pregnant and I guarantee if I was, I would take care of it ASAP because pregnancy is gross and babies are worse.

2. Well this one stinks but yeah that's the good thing.

3. I rarely wear pantyhose and never high heels.

4. Many baby showers are co-ed but I never attend women-only ones. I despise babies and anything connected with them.

Another thing is you will never have to deal with sexism. I've had so many employers refuse to hire me because they think I'll leave to be a mommy. Heck no. Also, many men have tried to sexually assault me which is why I always carry mace, a gun, and a razor and have used the razor and mace (not the gun but wouldn't hesitate).

Having a period is the worst. It's total agony, pain, discomfort and mood swings every damn month for 5-7 days since the age of 12. So it's been 37 years of misery every month. I'm 49 now, so menopause is on the way. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I'm 50 and going through it now I think. I can't wait to be honest, no more periods or fear of pregnancy so a win-win.

I'm perimenopausal right now, so I hardly ever get periods anymore which is great but also not so great because now it's unpredictable and can cause an unwelcome surprise. I can't wait for full menopause to set in. NO MORE DAMN PERIODS! For me, the pain was pretty damn excruciating at times.

I don't either, I can't remember the last time (probably almost a year ago) and so light. My doctor told me to see if I go for a year then it's considered menopause but there are women who don't have them for a year then bam! they get one. I'm starting to get the hot flashes though, I have to run fans and I sweat so bad. I itch at times too (though have psoriasis).

You might wanna try Estroven Menopause Relief + Mood. I take it every day. It works really good with helping to reduce the night sweats, hot flashes and moodiness.

I'm going to try that. Luckily the sweats aren't always bad but when they flare they are bad.

So are you glad/happy your mother "didn't tare care of it" when she pushed you out? And if babies are worse, I guess you came out a grown angry person, ummm.

She is 50 years old, so I'm assuming that 50 years ago, her mother was not offered the options that are available today. Even if Illinois was aborted, she would never know anything anyway.

Of course you realize, if men did have periods, we'd brag about who had the heaviest flow.

Believe me... it's nothing to brag about. It's gross, painful, super uncomfortable. Think about it... bleeding lady parts ... very painful every damn month! Menopause is a blessing!
