Default Oh god, please don’t tell me this was Florida’s idea of a “treat”

ROAST?!! Really, Florida? A dinner you eat just about every other average week? I can see why James was always stressed and depressed. No, Florida. You’re supposed to get a certain treat that shows you’ve made an improvement and have some extra money, not some damn cheap $1 roast. What about new clothes, or some other breakfast option for a change, or two separate beds for J.J. and Michael or at least a bunk bed for them, or better yet, a good comb? I’m surprised she didn’t say oatmeal.

The sad thing is, she didn't spend $1, she spent$12(Which is like $50 in 2021) on a BAD ROAST. The Roast wasn't even GOOD! It made five people sick!

She would’ve gone down as the worst mother in TV history if she would’ve said oatmeal.

Yes…or how about:

Oatmeal - Monday-Wednesday
Pancakes, Bacon, and Eggs - Thursday-Friday
Cereal - Saturday
French Toast, Bacon, and Eggs - Sunday

That probably would’ve been a bit expensive but it would’ve been better than constant hard, lumpy, dry, burnt oatmeal every morning for breakfast. James was a very stressed and depressed man…and I can see why.

James was too proud and embarrassed and had too much pride sometimes. He should’ve just accepted the food stamps and shut up.

Yes, I think James’s problem was he didn’t believe in himself and thought he was too much of a failure and was too proud and had too much pride.
