For lots of people who have been bitten by the commercial bug or just want to learn more about commercials as much as I have here are some tips to help you learn about commercial research like I do,
1. First if you want to catch a lot of commercials to learn about them the best way to do it is simply watch a lot of TV and then during a commercial break get a handy piece of paper and write down the commercials you just saw to remember what commercials to research and learn about
2. When it comes to vintage commercials a good place to research is Youtube which is my favorite go-to source for vintage commercial research. Also when you search Youtube make sure you put an "s" in the word commercial because no matter if you search commercials spelling the word commercial or commercials still gets you fine results in minutes. "You can also search by typing the product's name or store's name or restaurant's name before the word commercials as a guide "Example Burger King commercials/Betty Crocker commercials/Target commercials" and so on"
3. If you can't get Youtube another place to begin commercial research is buying some commercial DVD sets and two that are very helpful are Classic Commercials by Madacy Entertainment and the 10,000 Classic Commercials DVD by Mill Creek Entertainment
4. Most importantly have fun researching and learning about the amazing wonderful world of commercials
5. If you want to see commercials starring your favorite celebrity or any celebrity on Youtube type the celebrity's name before the word commercials and you will be taken to a treasure trove of celebrity commercials
