Default Enzo Martelli

Did you notice Hazel's relationship with Enzo was always rushed. He hasn't seen her for a long time, but he always on the go. It never really felt right. Barney the mailman and the other blue collar workers she knew were more suitable for Hazel. Do you all agree?

I must add very good acting, since the actor was not Italian. Very convincing.

Wink Enzo's Booked In the Hotel Notel With Hazel

Enzo was more the one night stand type of date for Hazel. Or at least as many different one nights there were whenever he happened to pop into town.

Another factoid concerning Enzo is his very name. I had previously posted about this, but a reminder is always pleasant. I was watching The Virginian and I noticed a name kept popping up in the end credits, episode after episode. That name was Enzo Martinelli, I think this is obviously where the Hazel writers came up with this name. It must have struck them as interesting so they used it. I wonder if the real Enzo ever objected?

I thought Hazel was best paired with Mitch Brady, the cab guy.

I agree, those 2 (Mitch & Hazel) seemed perfect for each other.

Mitch was a perfect character for Dub, as was Opie the handyman on Dennis the Menace. (I wonder if the name Opie was stolen by TAGS!)

In the episode where George forgot the unlisted number, Hazel appeared to meet him, and they had a few dates later. Of the guys Hazel went out with, I think she and Mitch were a match!
