Ann was beyond ridiculous! Did she actually expect David to remain celibate and just pine away for her from a distance? She had some nerve! David did nothing wrong and that lady (Denny) didn't need to go to Ann's house and coddle her with ice cream. Also, Ann and Schneider had no business busting into David's apartment!
