This could have been a better spinoff idea for 1977-78 season

Aunt Esther and Woody and their adopted son Daniel. Since she was spun off why not connect it to the season 6 storyline of Aunt Esther and Woody adopting daniel and focus more on Esther's home life and woody since they was only seen on Sanford and Son occasionally

Instead of 3 unknown characters inside of the sanford home

Shortly after adopting Daniel, The Andersons move to The Wino District, located near Esther’s church in order for Woodrew to pursue his new job, which is selling alcohol to other winos and drunks among the gutters and backstreets by wagon.
