Maybe they were afraid that if they had a Thanksgiving episode, somehow Maude,etc. would wind up throwing drumsticks,cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie at each other!

There was also a New Year's episode, season 3 Nostalgia Party. They all dressed up from their favorite year for a New Year's Eve party. I'm looking at the episode list and I don't recall any other holiday's they've done episodes on. I think it's funny the episode that aired on Valentine's Day in season 5 was a Halloween type episode where Maude thinks her painter is trying to kill her. The episode features Maude and Viv alone in Maude's house at night acting terrified. They were hilarious. One of my favorites from this show. They could have done a great Halloween episode that following season after seeing how well this episode worked out for them.

I hope you like it I enjoy mine. Is it the complete box set from Shout? Even though a few of the episodes are outdated with the issues they talk about, I still enjoy them. Bea is hilarious in this show and so much better than how she is on The Golden Girls. I even think Rue is better on this show. They have great chemistry as the Lucy & Ethel type characters.

Post Office is so backed up so it may not even arrive until after the new year

I was hoping to watch it over the holiday weekend but now that's out
