Default Season 9

Hello everyone..
I am new to this board. Nice to meet all of you.. I was a regular viewer of the Facts of Life when it originally aired, but I didnt see the later seasons as much, I couldnt quite warm to the Pippa character. Also, the show was not the same with Mrs Garrett gone.

Anyway, is Season 9 worth watching? Does that season have good episodes or by that time had the show already jumped the shark?

There's a few episodes I really enjoy from season 9 and they're Pippa free. Rumor Has It, Golden Oldies, and The More The Marrier. Rumor Has It is more along the lines of the first half of the series where there's no happy ending for everyone. Golden Oldies and The More The Marrier are just funny episodes IMO.

I don't think season 9 is something fans should rush to see if they haven't yet. The characters were all different than what we originally saw. They weren't themselves. They were mean to Pippa all the time shutting her out. I didn't care for it. If you end up watching the season, let us know what you think of it

Welcome, nice to meet you . My opinion. Season 9 is very different from the previous ones, Mrs. Garrett is gone, the girls are out of characters most of the time but there are several good episodes. Watch it and let us know your opinion

Season 9 has some good episodes. The best being the controversial "The First Time" episode. The Pippa episodes are not bad. What is bad was Jo's marriage to a man who disappears after they get married while Jo returns to live with the girls plus Blair being transformed into an airhead and a joke.

Welcome Billy. Most people here loathe Pimppa. Personally, I think a beheading would have been fitting.

Welcome on board too Sylvia!

Unlike all the others: i like the PIPPA character but hate URCHIN ANDY!

In my opinion: season 9 is one of my least favourites seasons (although not as bad as season 7) except for the last 2 episodes, 'The beginning of the end' and 'The beginning of the beginning' shows what could have been, if BLAIR had remained as the new headmistress, and i really liked how she tries to help the new girl (just like MRS G did with JO) and how well she bonds with her.....

Please watch it and let us know!

If your name came from Billy Tate from Soap, Jimmy Baio appeared in a couple of Facts of Life episodes.
