Default Core Four episodes where one of the girls got Nancies

What are the Core Four only episodes where one of the four girls gets Nancied?

For example, Natalie got Nancied on the Marriage Brokers episode. We can't count Blair not appearing on the First Time episode or the Nancy McKeon hold out episodes.

Natalie during the episode when it’s Blair’s birthday and they throw her the Alice in Wonderland-themed party. Or does that not count because she missed that episode entirely?

Natalie definitely got Nancied in "Gossip". Nancy took up the "fourth girl" position in that episode. Oh, the irony: Nancied by Nancy!

It's really unusual, a character Nancied by Nancy herself

Dear Apple was a Jo-centric episode for most of the run, the other girls didn't have much of a role

'Dear Apple' was a JO/BLAIR episode: it was based on their complicated friendship.

I hate Dear Apple because the whole idea of the computer being able to understand what Jo was talking about is ridiculous for 2020, let alone 1985.

I love and hate Dear Apple. I love it because it shows the relationship between Blair and Jo but I hate it because the talking computer was ridiculous, as you have said.

None of the core four were "Nancied". It's normal for shows to do episodes focused on a certain character while giving the rest of the cast a backseat. I gave an example in another thread about how Modern Family's Sarah Hyland had to find out her character's grandfather died in an episode she wasn't in after it aired. She said in the interview the cast doesn't receive scripts for episodes they're not in even though they are part of the main cast. She was upset she wasn't in the episode but it was focused on her character's father to deal with. There's a lot of shows that do this so I consider the term "backseat" than "Nancied".

Felice's "Nancied" should be considered more on the lines of a performer who is hired as a main star for a show but quickly sent to supporting status for various reasons. If Lisa had not been hired for Blair, I believe Felice would have stayed the star of the girls like it was intended to be from the pilot. The only other actress I might consider "Nancied" in FOL was Pamela in season 5. They obviously had plans for her since she was in the opening credits for episodes she wasn't even in. Those plans didn't go through after seeing she wasn't clicking with fans. We saw Kelly get the same treatment as Nancy who would just have a quick few second scene in an episode here or there until she became forgotten.

That definitely happened; good point!

It did seem like that is what would happen, Felice having the main role during the backdoor pilot. In fact, some of the newspaper articles from that era refer to Felice/Nancy as the "lead girl" or "head girl", or things like that.

They did it in Dear Apple and also in Dream Marriage. Maybe others, too.

I don't think any of the Core Four were ever Nancied. It was an ensemble show. They all had parts to play and contribute. For example, in "Gossip", Natalie has a pivotal role: It is she who eggs Tootie on to share her gossip about Mrs. Garrett to their friends Cindy and Sue Ann. If Natalie hadn't done that, Tootie wouldn't have told the girls, and the gossip wouldn't have spread like wildfire on campus and nearly cost Mrs. Garrett her job.

You can't say the same about Nancy in, say, "Molly's Holiday"...or "Running"...or "Emily Dickinson"...or "The Facts of Love"...or "Dieting"...or most of the shows! lol

I have to say i am definitely in the minority here: everyone seem to think that FELICE as NANCY was the big star on the Pilot 'The girls school', but i always saw BLAIR as the one who caught people's interest! I mean, the way she interacted with MRS G, practically ignoring her when she wants to shake hands, and then insulting her when she got caught smoking was hilarious! To me, it was obvious that BLAIR was cast as the bad girl and NANCY as the good girl!
You can have more than a main character on a sitcom, and this is how i view it:
1. NANCY is the good/popular girl
2. BLAIR is the bad/rebellious girl
3. MRS G the no nonsense housekeeper/housemother who would turns things right.....
