Default So wait, Jack was a grown man and paying rent and he was not allowed to........

have a girl in his bed if he wanted to?? I was watching the episode tonight when Felipe's cousin was living with the trio and sleeping in Jack's room. Jack left to get a spanish dictionary and janet and terri noticed her in his bed and was questioning him like......"What is she doing in here?

Why could he have a girl in his bed if he wanted to? lol

Remember those were the apartment rules the trio set. It's not that it's illegal or anything but if each of them had their girlfriend & boyfriends over there constantly the situation would quickly become unliveable as you can imagine.

What was even more stupid was when Teri said to the cousin: "Tell Jack the NEW word you learned." And the cousin replies "NO." That's stupid because it's not a new word. "NO" is the same in Spanish as it is in English.

The whole premise of the show was the only reason the apartment got rented coed was because Jack was supposed to be gay. In 2020 having such a stipulation sounds silly but not as much in 1970s.

Of course he should be able to sleep with a gal! Unfortunately, that would have meant different digs with a much higher rent.

Don’t quite understand what you mean by this. Who was jealous? Did you mean Mr. Roper & Furley?

They were mad at Jack in that episode because Jack said he's been so busy hard at work at the restaurant but then they find him in the apartment above the restaurant cavorting with a hot blonde.

I can understand the girls being mad at him there.

But that's not the reason though. If Jack could have girls in his bed then the girls could have guys in their beds. Then you'd have 3 couples in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment constantly banging each other!

You can see why that just wouldn't work, right?

Hence the ground rules they set of no sex partners in the apartment.

Janet and Terri were extremely thirsty and bitter and whiny and unnecessary and annoying in this episode. I wanted to punch them in the face through the TV so hard. I wish they would’ve shut the hell up and sucked it up.

Yep and notice how as soon as Felipe’s other male cousin came through the door they were fawning all over him but Jack couldn’t fawn over Maria? God, the hypocrisy and jealousy and bitterness.
