I would think that the clothes would have smelled bad and she would have flipped out over the thought of lice and other such creatures living with Jeff.
Also, Beaver acts like such a stupid person in season 6 it's almost impossible to watch it. I find myself telling Beaver to get off of the show and let me just watch the rest of them act in it. |

DVR it and fast forward past Beaver! As far as the Mr. Jeff episode goes, even Gilbert saw the problem with him...
It would have been interesting to see W&J get home while Jeff was still in the tub. "Ward, call the plumber. We need a new bathtub! Also I need to go to Penney's and get some new towels." |

Don't pick on Beav - the writers were idiots and Beav was just entering the Awkward Years (do I get cross episode post points ?) lol
Back to June - I'm surprised he didn't call Miss Manners to De- Contaminate the whole house. June wouldn't want to mess up her nails or miss an appointment at the beauty salon ! Besides she has a full schedule of SNOOPING on the boys to fulfill each day ! |

Good point--the writers kept him immature and naive.
LOL on the other points! |

That's why for season 6, the non-Beaver centric episodes I do prefer. But I do really enjoy Beaver The Caddy, Party Spoiler, and Beaver On TV.

The Caddy is a well-written script, and I also appreciate the production, with the on-location golf course scenes. Many shows would set-decorate a green on the soundstage, and that would be that. |

"Hubey" would have been good. His funniest line: Mary Margaret commented on his scent, and he said his mom just washed his hair with tar soap that morning.
I personally would have liked to have had a Mary Margaret, and her porch swing, in my eighth grade class! |

I would have not complained if a Mary Margret gave me nick names on her porch at that age. |

Whitey was the only "FOB" who was there for the entire run. The writers did give him good material. Miss Canfield called him "Harold" in Beaver Gets 'Spelled, the first episode CBS aired (due to heated discussion about the toilet displayed in Captain Jack, the first episode produced). Maybe all that discussion of the bathroom prompted Connelly and Mosher to make that room Beaver's sanctuary when he was in a snit.
Anyway, Whitey also had the distinction of being in what I would call the best-known episode, In the Soup. Three cheers to the late Stanley Fafara, for his role! |
