Abby Dalton Dies: "Falcon Crest" Actress, Emmy Nominee & Game Show Mainstay was 88

Abby Dalton, an Emmy-nominated actress known for her early roles on such series as "Hennessey" and "The Joey Bishop Show" who revitalized her career in the 1980s as a star of the primetime soap "Falcon Crest", has died. She was 88.

Her death was announced by her spokesperson Sue Procko.

Known for her offbeat humor, Dalton was a mainstay on game shows of the 1970s, including "Hollywood Squares", "Match Game" and "Super Password".

In 1981, she landed the role of Julia Cumson on "Falcon Crest", playing opposite Jane Wyman. Dalton remained on the show until 1986.

I don't remember her being on Match Game often enough to be considered a semi-regular. And Super Password was in the 1980s. She also was a regular on All-Star Blitz and semi-regular on Pyramid (the 1980s version, anyway).

You're right, I looked it up and she was only on two weeks of shows. One in 1974 and one in 1982.

Never mind. Buzzr stopped new to them episodes and went back to earlier episodes already shown (they tend to do that).
