Rate seasons 2-4.
1. Season 2 2. Season 4 3. Season 3 I don't have a problem with s3 but there are episodes I don't like very much, like A Baby in the House, Sweet Sorrow, Dear Me, The Americanization of Miko, Starstruck, Jo's Cousin, The Academy...and I really can't stand Tootie in season 3 ![]() ![]()

I like Dear Me. Nancy O. gets quite a bit of coverage and lines in that one. More so than in some Season 1 episodes. We see that Jo mentions Roger and knows Nancy O. at least relatively well. Of course 5 years later Nancy O. acted as if Jo was a complete stranger.

Okay here it goes (although it's a hard decision i have to say!):
2, 4 and 3 (same as FOL FAN ITA) but i do like most episodes on season 3, and TOOTIE doesn't bother me in the least yet! (it's in season 8 & 9 that i absolutely cannot stand her lol!). Besides: season 3 has excellent episodes such as 'The 4 musketeers' (my favourite in this season), 'New York, New York' and 'Kids can be cruel'. On the other hand, i wasn't very fond of 'Starstruck' (TOOTIE is annoying on that one), 'Sweet sorrow' (i don't like episodes that are only focused on JO) and 'The Americanization of Miko' (that crush on JO was too much for my taste). |

Oops! I meant, on second thoughts it'd be a mixture between season 4 & 2 (they're both great it's hard to decide lol!)

1. Season 1 (What? It's got a cafeteria!
) - Lost Girls galore, and fun, funky scripts. Feels like a school. Actual classrooms and teachers.2. Season 2 - plenty of Lost Girls, and a fun new character who's a "breath of fresh air". 3. Season 3 - still some Lost Girls in the first half, and some hard-hitting episodes. 4. Season 4 - the weakest of the Eastland Years; things begin slipping. 5. Season 5 - we still get the cafeteria for two more episodes before we move to a new era. |

I thought season 1 wasn't part of the 'cafeteria years?' (you always called them the 'Golden era' Retro?) ![]() ![]() In that case i change my preferences, so here it goes: Season 1 + the pilot 100 %: all the original FOL cast is there, MRS G is the main star, and BLAIR is still her real self (the rebellious/adventurous girl with the golden heart)!!!! ![]() ![]() Season 2 as next: MRS G gets the girls out of trouble, and they end up moving opposite her room so she can keep her eye, on the now '4 unruly' girls! ![]() ![]() Season 4: i love how well MRS G has bonded with the 'Core of 4', she has now gradually become their surrogate mother, and the last episode 'Graduation' is my favourite part of these season! (The final scene, when she gives JO & BLAIR their graduation gifts with a special speech to each of her oldest girl is very emotional....) ![]() ![]() Season 5: i will always love the fact that MRS G has her 4 girls move in with her like a real family, under the same roof and work for her too, do things together and share! 'Edna's Edibles' was for me like a real, warm home.... ![]() ![]() Season 3: the girls get into more mischief, and are constantly under the watchful eyes of their guardian MRS G, and a great example of it is the episode 'The 4 musketeers' (probably the best of this season), they also seemed to be fighting more, but also bond like sisters.... ![]() ![]() And lastly season 6: it's the most bittersweet one of them all, because in a way is the LAST time we see MRS G act like herself, and the best example of all, is the episode 'The interview show'. In this last episode, our 'feisty red haired' reveals us in a way her departure, and how much she will miss her girls... ![]() After season 7 begins, MRS G turns into a POD, and eventually leaves the show... :violin

Season 2 of the cafeteria years will always be number one for me because this is the true start of the show. If it wasn't for the changes that took place in season 2, we wouldn't have had the following 7 years. Season 3 and 4 are about the same. I have more favorite episodes in season 3 than I do 4. Season 4 would have been perfect if they hadn't brought back Stone Academy and gave them a whole episode shutting Mrs. Garrett and the girls to just a few seconds of airtime. I still skip that episode in my rewatch rotation. |

Kim is a great actress, there's no doubt about it. I don't like Tootie during season 3 in particular, because she was childish and whiny on several occasions. But I understand that, because she was still a kid. For me Season 2 is the best season of the show, because it sets up the premise for the following years.

She had awesome snappy remarks at times. I agree about season 2 being the best season of the show. The format change made it perfect. Season 3 was NBC's most watched show that TV season so the majority of fans like the changes as well or they wouldn't have kept watching. |
