Only with the grandfather in season 4. The episode about the roast that made everyone sick was aired on 11/25/75 two days before thanksgiving so that could have been a thanksgiving episode if they had a turkey instead of a roast

Yeah I noticed that as well. Now that Thanksgiving’s tomorrow it’s the perfect time to mention how there was no Thanksgiving episodes during the James era. It would’ve been nice to have one or two Thanksgiving episode during the James era. Speaking of the grandfather, where the HELL was he for James’s funeral?

Yes they screwed that all up. he dont go to the funeral but arrives for Thanksgiving?

That was inappropriate and he hardly mentioned James after the fact. And he had the nerve to show up with his random ass girlfriend Lena who the family hadn’t met. I guess that’s what Henry was busy with around the time of James’s funeral lol
