Default Is Neal Sabin (MeTV) Secretly Ted Turner's Clone (TBS)?

With the announcement of classic cartoons coming in January, I'm really starting to wonder. Right now, the majority of MeTV's current programs was airing on TBS during the late 80's and 90's. They even use the Turner color episodes of Gilligans Island. If I see Captain Planet and John Wayne/Clint Eastwood movie marathons, than I will really know for sure.

I think Mr.Sabin has done an excellent job on making Me TV.

I do feel he needs to make a deal with Antenna TV and send some Sitcoms to Antenna TV ( My Three Sons & The Donna Reed Show & Leave It To Beaver & I Love Lucy & The Brady Bunch & The Monkee’s & The Mary Tyler Moore Show & The Bob Newhart Show’s that are very popular in pop culture, and by fans. Yet has the rights to these Sitcoms and won’t air them on Me TV or put them on at watchable times. I mentioned this on another post.

His promos are very well entertaining.

I’m sorry I guess I was a little off subject, but I do agree his path seems to follow Turner.

MTM, Newhart, Donna Reed and ILL all run on Me-TV's sister network Decades at very watchable times, so Sabin won't be sending them anywhere soon. Not that he could anyway; Weigel licenses all those shows from the studios that syndicate them so if Antenna really wanted them, they could always try to outbid Weigel for the rights when they come up for renewal. Honestly though, I doubt Antenna would be interested in the Decades sitcoms; their schedule is heavily dominated by shows from the 80's and 90's.

I do agree though that Sabin is one smart cookie when it comes to programming his networks and even smarter when it comes to promotion.
