Default How many times has a member of the Honeymooners cast appeared on Johnny Carson?

I just got Antenna TV. I know Antenna showed some episodes of Carson with Gleason interviews and Carney interviews but I am sure there is more that Antenna didn’t air.

Well I found out that Art Carney made an appearance in Jan. 1975.

I know that. Thank you. I did record that episode from Antenna TV. It was a good episode. Shows you how much time has changed.

Seems like it made more sense to have Johnny Carson come on at 11:30pm but Antenna TV tends to have programming issues

I produced a syndicated comedy series for a low power tv station group called "Channel America" in the mid 1990's and taped a wonderful interview with Joyce Randolph, she was a absolute delight, one of the most wonderful nights in my 40 year tv career, she also signed my honeymooners plate and was a true gentle professional. During the interview she talked about the classic 39, the lost episodes, having a recent lunch with Joyce at Sardis, etc. I own the master and copyright to this wonderful extremely rare interview and maintain it on dvd.

Nice. That must have been an absolute honor for you. I would have been nervous as all get out.

Cool story! I always thought Trixie was the one sane person in a group of crazies! Lol!

Thank you to the both above posts, It was a very enjoyable evening, and yes we specialized in having classic tv actors/actresses on the program, but joyce was a true legend. Others I had the pleasure to have as guests were John Astin, Peter Tork, Norman Fell/Richard Kline, Jonathan Frid, A My Three Sons mini reunion, Alan Young, Erin Murphy (Tabitha), Al Lewis, Butch Patrick and many more.

It always is very sad when of these legends passes, as i remember our taping with them.

Thank you again for the kind words

In case you all are wondering, I got a rare DVD of Art on the Tonight Show from 1975 (unlike the 1974 episode, this one hasn’t been seen in decades and I can tell it’s different from the 1974 episode with different guests) and there is NO mention of Honeymooners bloopers

Oh almost on-topic Charlie Callas, A Johnny Carson guest legend, appeared a record of four times on my series. He lived in Fort Lee, NJ and was always available as our standby guest when a guest couldn't make it! He was the best and he worked out in my same fort lee gym! A true legend with so many sitcom appearances!

Oh and forgot Kent McCord who spoke of his friendship with Ricky Nelson whom got him an acting start on Ozzie & Harriet.

Here’s another clip from another episode where Art made an appearance. I don’t think this episode is on Antenna TV nor do I think it’s on the Pluto TV. Does anyone know if the full episode is available?

The episode is on Shout tv but since all off Carson’s episodes were 90 minutes and this is 46 minutes, this makes me think it’s edited but I don’t know if Art’s appearance was edited. There is NO mention of the Honeymooners
