I am currently working with the seller to get that episode added to his Archie Bunker's Place set. That episode will indeed be part of his set. The episode I have runs almost 25 minutes long so it's definitely unedited.

Just checking in, but if you buy two shows you guys say you get a third one free right? Does it come off automatically or do you guys get a coupon of some kind? Plan on getting ABP, Gloria and Sanford all at once if that’s possible.

I think he gives a short-lived show for free. So if you bought Gloria and ABP, u might not get Sanford but I could be wrong

I emailed the seller, told him I was interested in 3 sets and I asked for a coupon. He gave me a code and I applied that to the checkout when I ordered. Everything arrived within days (I am in Canada and there were some Customs charges) well-packed with a free bonus. The sets are nicely packaged with computer-generated cover art and the discs are stacked inside. I haven't had a chance to watch a whole lot yet but from what I've seen the quality is great. I would recommend getting them.

I havent looked at Gloria yet but I am guessing I will have the same issue I had with What's Happening Now. Since the DVD's are stacked on top of each other like a stack of pancakes, any episode I tried to watch was skipping and freezing. I didnt have that issue with Sanford Arms because it was only 6 eps and the DVD was in different sections. Not sure why he would package DVD's like that on top of each other. Why not separate them? Well I probably made my last purchase from him if ABP is packaged the same way

What type of DVD device do you use to watch DVD;s? Maybe the laptop is only for commercial releases. So I want to try and purchase another DVD player

I don't particularly like stacked DVDs either but it's not a big deal to me. I haven't had too many issues with discs. I only had one issue with a disc but was able to clean it off and the disc played properly. I even backed it up to another disc just incase.

I am not a stickler because these shows aren't really being released elsewhere. I can't stand the way Mill Creek releases their DVDs but for the price they charge I can make my own storage for the discs which allows for a longer lifespan in my collection.

Sony is known for the dreaded jumbo DVDs boxes which houses 20 plus discs in a cheap flimsy case. That's one of the worst offenses to TV on DVD collection. Sony also used to release complete sets with discs stacked on top of each other with a piece of cardboard holding them in place. That was another pet peeve.

However the price was unbeatable so I couldn't really complain. I just placed the discs in different storage cases.

In terms of great packaging I think Shout Factory and MPI do it the best. They release great sets with no stacked discs or cheap cases.

With both companies, they release multiple shows with each disc having it's own holder rather than overlapping another or being stacked.

Time Life did good with Mama's Family but the boxed set was far too big to effectively store on a shelf. They could have done something similar to a Shout Factory release and saved so much time and energy producing that set. I'm not complaining though. It was one of the best releases of 2013.

The Dick Van Dyke original complete series set was another interesting release because it was a gigantic box with several slim cases holding a disc from each season. It's not really shelf friendly but at least you can access each disc without having to touch another one.

I decided to purchase the LG DVD player with Xvid so I can watch them on that instead of the Laptop. I found out my laptop is not compatible with DVD-R Discs
