There’s an article on “The American Conservative” website now which claims Johnny Gosch was the victim of a massive conspiracy. I tried to post that the theory was bunk but I have been banned for a long time. But what is more likely - that Johnny was kidnapped (and likely murdered) by an individual who unfortunately got away with the crime, or that Johnny was the victim of a massive conspiracy that would need hundreds of people involved. And sadly, Johnny’s mother is unreliable, so we can’t take her word about what did or didn’t happen. Other people who have promoted the conspiracy are cranks and/or convicted sex offenders. Unfortunately, no one (as far as I know) has done extensive research attempting to debunk the conspiracy theories.

All we know for sure is that a boy named Johnny Gosch disappeared in 1982. What happened before or after is speculation. But I have a few questions.
1. What was Johnny’s home life like? Was he being abused? Is it plausible one of his parents mistakenly killed him, hid his body, and then staged a kidnapping scene? 2. Why has Johnny's father not spoken about the case? 3. Did any of the law enforcement who worked on the case have a theory? |
