In a sign that the NFL’s Washington franchise has committed itself to a new name, the league has asked partners to begin scrubbing “Redskins” from their platforms in anticipation of a change that could be coming as soon as Monday.

How about the Washington Redskin potatoes !? They could take away the Native American logo and have a picture of some Red skin potatoes !!

Hoping Red skin potatoes don't have to stop being called that ! Alert to all produce depts. in grocery stores ! You must cease to call them Red skin potatoes and think of a new name !!

I think they should be called The Washington Braves...that was their original name when they were in Boston.

PS...most Native Americans are indifferent with teams named after their next-of-kin nor they care less about Christopher Columbus....
