An interesting thing I noticed today. I watched a Keely Shay Smith-narrated series of bulletins today and noticed John Addis was covered on one of those bulletins. Apparently it was produced before Joann Albanese's body was found as she was described as a missing persons at that point. I'd never seen it before but remember the actual John Addis segment quite well.
Someone then reminded me that this happened with the Heather Tallchief case as well: it was a bulletin that ultimately was later made into a segment. Are there other instances of this happening on the show? |

I was recently watching the first-ever UM special with Raymond Burr. At the very end, they talked about the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List. I had to laugh because the first three names (Leo Koury, Donald Webb, and Victor Gerena) were all later featured as regular stories on UM.
So it was funny to see Burr mention these in rapid fashion in Special Bulletin format, only to see them in full format later. |

I don't think I've ever seen the full Addis segment. I did read a book about him which really went into what a POS he was.

I just ordered that book from Amazon! The segment is on Prime, season 12, Episode 7. It's titled 'Con Artist Cop' or something corny like that.
