Just watched "The Feud" where Brock and Reba's boss fought. Not a great one but I noticed 2 things in this episode.
One, that pretty lamp by the couch in the living room is gone. It had a nice lampshade with different colors on it that I liked and now it's replaced with a hideous one with flowers all over it. Boo. I'm gonna miss that old lamp. ![]() And in the scene where Reba is in the living room with Brock and her boss, you can see a big book on the shelf with "Texas" on it....but then in the next scene with Kyra & Van in the living room....the "Texas" book is gone! ![]() Does anyone else notice little things like this too when watching TV? ![]() Ok, 3 more episodes to go tonight!

I liked the next episode "And the Grammy Goes to..". Especially seeing Jenny O' Hara playing Reba's ex Mother in Law---though she'll always be Doug Heffernan's Mom to me.
![]() "The Wall" was one I remember seeing years ago in syndication where Reba & Barbara Jean channel Lucy & Ethel....it reminded me of the one where Lucy & Ethel tried to go over the wall into some Hollywood Star's home. Fun episode! ![]() I hope there's more stuff like this with them two in future episodes. Then there was "The Best Defense" which I found to be the weakest of the 4 I watched tonight. Oh well...I guess I can't love them all. Reba & Barbara Jean hitting each other at the defense class seemed too forced. I mean, in one episode they get closer and then in the next Reba hates her again and wants to cause her pain...and this time physical! Not nice! ![]() I'll watch the last 4 episodes of season 2 tomorrow and can't wait to see what Cheyenne does to anger some fans!! I'm really looking forward to that!

^^^ What I love about the self defense class episode is Kyra giving Cheyenne what she should've been given sooner.
God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. Jake is funny too when he refuses to let Brock know about the security code.

Should be interesting to hear your opinion on that! Remember the season 3 premiere is an hour Ep too.

The cliffhanger at the end of "Your Place or Mine" left me completely hanging because I have no idea what Kyra chose....DON'T SPOIL ME PLEASE!!....I'll wait till next Saturday to find out...I LOVE cliffhangers like this!! ![]() Now I see why some people hate Cheyenne....I don't hate her, but it was pretty messed up what she did to cause Kyra to not be able to do her summer semester in England. The fact that she carelessly dropped classes Reba was paying for was incredibly irresponsible and if she wants to continue college, Reba should've told her she has to skip a semester so Kyra could do her trip. IMO that was the fair thing to do. Laying the guilt trip about the baby losing day care was low and showed how selfish she is...and Van too. I really wish Reba hadn't given her that money and forced her to live with the consequence of her decisions. Kyra got the shaft and I completely understand why she'd want to move with her Dad and BJ. I THINK she does in season 3....but don't tell me lol. I like wondering! ![]() Also, I think it was wrong for Reba to tell Kyra that she used the money for Cheyenne. When she first told her she couldn't go, Kyra was fine with it thinking she didn't have enough money. Why Reba decided to go all the way with the whole truth is beyond me. I don't think Kyra would ever have found out about Cheyenne getting the money and everything would've been ok. I guess Reba doesn't believe in lying. I also had a vague memory of Barbara Jean being Reba's neighbor and when they bought the house around the corner it showed me I wasn't going crazy lol. When they lived in that condo, I wondered why I kept remembering they lived closer to each other. Anyway the last 2 episodes of this season was really good with a few LOL jokes...When BJ said she was thinking of turning the 4th bedroom into a library, Reba's "That's gonna be one lonely book" was hysterical. ![]() Now I can't wait for Saturday to see how this all works out. I think I like Cheyenne a little less now and Kyra more...I used to call Kyra a Darlene from Roseanne clone, but she's been getting better and becoming her own character more this second season. I'm also glad it's a one hour season opener!! Should be fun!! ![]()

Glad you enjoyed it! Also happy you like Kyra more, lots of character development goes throughout the series. I think reba told Kyra so she didn’t find out from someone else. Despite Cheyenne being irresponsible she will grow from this (some may disagree that’s fine)

I still think Reba should've cut Cheyenne off from school for a semester and given the money to Kyra. Cheyenne really needs to grow up, and you'd think with a baby she would. But maybe that's going to be her character development in season 3 and i'm really looking forward to it now. These last 2 episodes were so great and I hope the show keeps that momentum going. |

The season 3 one hour opener was good. I liked the flashbacks but seems they did a little history changing with Barbara Jean being hired by Reba because she stopped working for Brock.
I'm not sure, but didn't Reba not know her until Brock told her he was leaving her and she was pregnant? I thought that's how they met. I remember Barbara Jean telling Reba to call her BJ because everyone else does and she made that crack "I know why" lol. Seems if they already knew each other for years she wouldn't need to say "Call me BJ" since they've known each other already. Was this a change of history or was I remembering season 1 wrong? ![]() I liked how Cheyenne & Van kept getting caught eavesdropping on Reba. ![]() I was expecting Cheyenne to turn it around and say to Reba "It's rude to sneak up on people!" ![]() I liked how Reba & Kyra made up while she still stayed with her Dad. It was nice that Reba understood why in the end. And i'm glad Kyra told Cheyenne it was all because of her---but her crying reaction afterwards seemed so fake. Not liking Cheyenne much! There's 2 more episodes on this side of the disc i'll watch tonight. I really hate these 2 sided discs. They're so damn annoying....one time I sat down all ready to watch and got comfortable and then realized I forgot to flip the disc over and was not happy to get up and cross the room to flip the darn thing. |

I was like "Reel it in a little woman!" I like BJ but don't want to see her become a caricature or parody of herself. It reminds me of how Chrissy on Three's Company went from being lightly dim to full out mental by the time she left the show---her ditziness became way too extreme to where she needed to be committed for being so stupid lol. I hope the BJ character doesn't go down that path. Then was "The Best and the Blondest" where flaky Cheyenne & idiot Van ditched the Career Fair for a concert. (I called Cheyenne flaky a few weeks ago here and they actually called her that in this episode lol) I'm not liking this girl more and more. Reba and Brock are paying for this girl's college education and she just drops classes that are paid for, and then ditches career fairs for concerts....It's like "What the hell is she even doing in college?!" It only makes me feel more badly for Kyra for getting the shaft while her irresponsible flaky sister gets everything and doesn't appreciate it. I was on Reba's side about the dentist thing---she just pulls it out of the air like it's suddenly her lifelong calling----she's so flaky it's sad. I'm curious to see if she follows through with this for the rest of the series---but I doubt it. And those double sided dvds are terrible----they need to invent a disc flipping dvd player so I don't have to get off the couch to binge.

The next 2 episodes were kind of duds, but I liked "The Ghost & Mrs. Hart" where we FINALLY saw Barbara Jean take responsibility for what she did to Reba. I was so glad to see her tell Reba the guilt she felt about breaking up her marriage. It was a long time coming and you could see she was being sincere and was carrying the guilt for a while. I just don't know why she didn't try to absolve herself with Reba before that if she felt that way all this time. But it was nice to finally see her tell this to Reba who at this point in her life probably didn't need to hear it anyway as she seemed to have gotten past it all, but it would've been nice had she had it said to her much earlier. I liked how Reba tried to make Barbara Jean feel better by focusing on the positive outcomes of the situation. That was really mature of her as well as sweet to think of BJ's feelings when she could've twisted the knife while she was groveling. ![]() I think this scene elevates their relationship to a new level of respect, at least on Reba's part. It seems Reba has accepted her as being a part of the family and starting to treat her as a member. It was a really wonderful scene between the two and I can accept BJ myself more now that she came clean and apologized for everything. I was beginning to wonder if she was an unfeeling sociopath who didn't care what she did to Reba yet still expected her to be her best buddy.

Really you didn’t enjoy Spies Like Reba or Calling The Pot Brock? Those two are some of my favs. Especially SLR, the adults reading Kyra’s emails was hilarious. It was nice to see Brock say that Kyra living with him doesn’t mean she gets to cut Reba out of her life too. I’m surprised it took til s3 for BJ to apologize for the affair.
