Question about the 2nd episode of the series called "The Dance"

Just watched the episode of Family Matters when Urkel flies through the roof of the winslows house at the end. Originally on ABC in 1991 he landed on the set of Step by Step for the crossover. Few questions


Is the scene with steve landing on the Lamberts picnic table included on syndicated versions of Step by Step?

Is it included on the DVD?


Or did the episode just start without the picnic table scene confusing new viewers of the show about who steve urkel is and why is he there?

On the Step by Step dvd the opening scene lasts 52 seconds. Urkel lands at 42 seconds. It isn't really explained who he is. I think you just take it that he is some mad inventor kid Mark knows from school.

I believe that his landing in the Lambert backyard is included on the DVD.
