Default So wait..was Mr. French "stoned"?

I'm watching the end of this latest eppy now, where French was mixed in with these Indian people, and I saw him smoking from a hookah, and almost got married lol!!!

Seems like he came back home and had some "trouble" articulating simple conversation and almost didn't know where he was, nor the time of day...

This is just too funny....I'm glad I got to see this many yrs later than the 1st time I saw it as a kid back when it was aired originally...

It's from the 1st season, cuz Buffy and Jody are still "tiny tots" and hadn't been too long living there...

They're starting from the beginning of the season again on Decades TV

The episode is titled Who's Afraid Of Nural Shpeni? It's the 8th episode of season 1. I have all 5 seasons on DVD, I'll watch this episode later.

Cool! Yeah, I really would like to see this! I think I will order season 1 today ! Also to see the alternate Mr. French in a few eps. As a kid I was very baffled as to why Niles , instead of Giles French was there for a while ?

Sebastian Cabot is absent in about 10 episodes from the 1st season, I believe he had an illness of some sort. The actor John Williams was brought in to take his place.

I imagine there probably was a mention in one of the TV Guide's back in 1966 or 67 that Sebastian Cabot would be absent from some Family Affair episodes and John Williams would be filling in.

That's great if you found a good deal for the season 1 DVD, enjoy watching the episodes after you get the package. I've found some good DVD deals on Ebay also.

Yeah, they probably did have something in writing about it like you said the TV guide or something so the viewers weren't left wondering ! I guess my Mom missed the article!?

I'm looking forward to getting this DVD to see a stoned chubby Mr. French and Skinny Mr. French !
