TV Land Canada Aired This Show Uncut - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

A couple years ago I got a DVD set of the series with TV Land Canada broadcasts. All of the episodes run 25 minutes exactly. I was excited because I have yet to see a Petticoat Junction set that was this amazing. The quality is excellent since they are digital recordings.

The only other set of the show that I'm aware of has quality that varies and the episodes come from various broadcasts. There could be others but that is the only other one I'm aware of at the moment.

I'm a big fan of having these classic shows in their original formats and in the best quality possible, especially since a lot of them have yet to be released on DVD in their entirety.

Hopefully a studio finishes this one on DVD as well as The Beverly Hillbillies.

Not unusual for overseas airings to be uncut - Canada for instance has stronger regulations regarding commercial time than the U.S. has - less commercial time per hour than in the States. (Australia and the U.K. are also that way.

They ran ONE DAY AT A TIME uncut in Canada several years ago - including the TWO episodes that showed up on the Complete Series DVD set in edited syndication versions! Guess Sony Television didn't bother to check Sony International for unedited copies.
