I remember that Alice episode where the baby's mom was the same girl who played Horshack's woman. I think her name was Mary in Welcome Back, Kotter.

I felt bad for her in Alice. She seemed so small, young and sad.

Yep, she was Mary Johnson and there were two other girls named Mary Johnson at Buchanan high ! That was one of the things that made her so depressed, even her name was ordinary and she felt like she was invisible, that nobody even knew her or cared that she was alive !

Silly, then you weren't paying attention to the show or us posters who reminded you.... Belle called Mel's from Nashville to announce that she got a singing gig there! Dingy, we told you countless times and it was in one of the more recent episodes. Belle was shown calling Mel's! As for Jolene, she showed up on a break from her long-haul trucking with her partner who was a pervert. Jolene and the partner got into a fight and she threw a bunch of dishes at him causing a lot of damage. So since she told her partner that she quit, Mel hired her as temporary help to pay for her damages! Jeez.... how many times do we have to tell you, silly boy!

Yeah he was an abusive boyfriend , a trucker right ? I haven't seen this ep. In years ! It's funny , Antenna had been running Alice for a couple of years now and I watch it a lot ! But for some reason I always miss the ep.where Jolene arrives !

But from memory , I think she is escaping an abusive man who works as a truck driver right ?

That's almost right! He was never actually her boyfriend, just her trucking partner. He's a pervert who likes to sexually assault Jolene and "uses her knee as a gearshift."

Yes, Belle is seen making the call from a honky-tonk country western saloon. She's wearing a white cowboy hat and some frilly outfit while she's gushing about her new singing gig in Nashville.

The last episode I saw her in was when Mel was mugged by the old lady
