and wouldn't you think she'd always smell of grease and/or cleaning liquids? who keeps a uniform that clean all day long? and how many does she have? I LOVE the black one for "comp'ny"...
I just think this is really funny though... And I ALWAYS get hungry when she starts cooking in the kitchen and actually plan my dinner menu while watching this show, lol! |

Hmm, I have never even considered Hazel's lack of grease and grime plastered all over her clothes! I guess when you're stuck in the house for months on end the mind will wander to places never considered before.
But, really I can't imagine Hazel walking around full of stains and grease. I can't imagine myself doing it either. Maybe a 5 year old, but really who goes around covered in grease and grime? If you're serious I'm sure Hazel has more than one uniform to change into on those occasions when she falls down a well or trips into the outhouse in the backyard.

I never thought about this either. If the soup splattered on her uniform she'd probably change it immediately.

In the episode where Hazel is playing nurse maid to Mr. B. and Mr. Griffin, I like when Mr. Griffin shouts at Hazel: "Now get back to your pots and pans"!
It was the first time Hazel met Mr. Griffin and Mr. Griffin was pissed because Hazel was trying to nurse his cold.

I dunno, I'm always thinking about food when watching this show, cuz she makes cooking so easy....(I actually pulled off a 6 bone roast last T-day for the 1st time in my life after watching this show, lol!!)
and I just thought for all the times we see her in the kitchen, she never gets nothing spilled/splashed on her...I should be so lucky... I wanna do her parkerhouse rolls now... |

Breakfast Anyone?
One reason I loved watching Hazel as I ate breakfast is because in so many of the episodes they start off with the family all sitting down and eating breakfast too. So I felt like I was having breakfast with the Baxters! And Missy wasn't bad for the digestion either. On some occasions Hazel would be having pancakes and by coincidence so would I. That I thought was really neat. Anytime my breakfast matched the Hazel breakfast was a day to smile.
