Here are the changes coming to CHCH's daytime lineup in June 2020:


What's In: Fantasy Island

What's Out: Gidget and The Partridge Family


Other shows will get switched around and appear at new times.

New titles won't appear until the fall. CHCH and other Canadian networks will not announce their fall schedules until the US networks (2 down, 2 to go!) unveil theirs. So it could be a long wait, possibly around the end of June. In the meantime, here's what the new lineup will look like:


10:00 am I Love Lucy
10:30 I Dream Of Jeannie (New Time!) (replaces "Gidget" Friday June 5)
11:00 Good Times
11:30 Hogan's Heroes
12:00 pm Fantasy Island (returns Tuesday June 2) (replaces "The Partridge Family" and "The Jeffersons")
1:00 Mission: Impossible
2:00 Starsky and Hutch
3:00 Sanford and Son
3:30 The Jeffersons (New Time) (replaces "One Day At A Time")
4:00 One Day At A Time (New Time) (replaces "The Facts Of Life")
4:30 The Facts Of Life (New Time) (replaces "I Dream Of Jeannie")
5:00 Cheers
5:30 Happy Days

All of the time switching may seem a bit confusing but the new combinations make more sense. "Sanford and Son" and "The Jeffersons" look good back to back as do "Lucy" and "Jeannie" but I would have preferred something better during the noon hour. At least for now I will be able to take longer lunches!

CHCH tv is one of the better tv stations (if not the best) for throwback tv shows in North America...they have a very diverse and entertaining lineup.

So how does CHCH fulfill its Canadian content obligations? NOne of those shows was from Canada.

I'm glad you like it. I watch it every day! How do think it rates compared with the big US stations like Antenna and Me? I think they've done a great job considering that there is very little competition here in the retro TV market.

That doesn't bother me at all since I only follow the station during the day when all the great retro shows are on. Before that, they have a show from 6-10 am (4 hours!) called "Morning Live" which features local news and other community happenings which I find quite dull. I think that it matches up very well with Antenna TV given that CHCH doesn't schedule retro shows 24 hours a day. Antenna schedules retro tv 24 hours a day with a very nice mix of tv shows.

I think that it has a better show variety than MeTV. MeTV has grown as stale as month old bread.
